Refund to a customers credit card account
I have a customer I want to refund some money to and they used a credit card to pay the invoice. I would like the money to credit directly back to their card.
I set up an income account called Invoice Overpayment and added that item to the already paid invoice (-$XXX). The invoice now has a balance of (-$XXX) indicating I owe them money.
How do I actually get the transaction to credit their card?
