Notes in a transaction are NOT searchable.
When I come back from a business trip I make a note for the transaction what TRIP the transaction was for. This would be helpful if the search feature also searched Notes. This way I could generate a report directly from the search for each individual business trip.
Another example. At tax time. Maybe I purchased a piece of equipment that I know is a write off. In my notes I also put big item notes letting me know what the purchase was for. Being able to search notes let's me find that item quickly so I can be efficient with my taxes.
My company's financial well being relies a good search feature. Wave needs to focus on making their search feature more powerful.
