Why do these transactions mean ? Why 3 times the same thing ?

RoKaRoKa Member Posts: 39 ✭✭

So, I've been "using" Wave for several years to do invoices and get payments, but not much more. Every time I try to ... anything, I seem to get stuck in a loop of really unintelligible accounting operations that make no sense to me, like the one below.

Why do I have 3 of the same ?
I really don't know what to do with these transactions / transfers.
How do I proceed ?

Any resources you can point me to, much appreciated, I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.

Thank you for your help.

Hey @RoKa , thanks for inquiring about what these transactions mean before jumping ahead and deleting any of them. I can say that they are very important and they keep your accounting in line with proper dates.

We have a handy Help Center article on Payments bookkeeping which explains the exact break down of why you have three transactions. The quick explanation would be one transaction records the date of payment, and the other two transactions (different ends of a transfer) record the date that it actually hits your bank account.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
