New Business, Old Transactions

I am opening a new, rental property business in Wave.

I now have dedicated checking and credit card accounts that I will be using exclusively for the rental business. I have linked the new bank accounts to Wave.

I have previous transactions from a personal bank account that I would like track in the rental business to have a full reckoning of my expenses. I will not be using the personal bank account for business expenses going forward.

What is the best way to track those previous transactions in my new rental business accounting?

    You have 2 options.

    Option 1 is to manually enter the transactions. Hopefully there aren't too many.
    Option 2 is to import the entire account and delete the transactions that aren't for your rental. Hopefully there aren't too many.

    Yup, I ended up just manually entering them. I tried importing a CSV file with just those transactions, but Wave wouldn't accept the many attempts that I made.
