How to record replacing product at business expense

Landscaping job in April had some plants that died after job was finished. Customer requested plants be replaced in June. I purchased and installed replacement plants at my cost. How do i record this in wave?

You would record as any other normal expense. Since you already recognized the revenue and cost in April, this purchase is an additional cost. Essentially reducing your profit margin. Hope that makes sense.
