VAT ON PURCHASE

Apologies if there is already a discussion regarding VAT on purchases but I haven't been able to locate it.
When entering purchase invoices I have recorded the VAT.
I cannot find a report showing the total purchase and the vat thereon for preparing my VAT return.
Indeed it would be good to find a report showing the Sales, VAT thereon, Purchases, VAT thereon, and ultimately the VAT due to the authorities.
Advice would be appreciated.

    There's the Sales Tax report, which shows all your taxes owed and owing, @Pawsome_Pets1. It won't get you the total amount of sales and purchases, you'll have to check other reports for that, but it'll break down your taxes for you.

    I have learnt that part of my problem was not ticking the recoverable box - i have now sorted that and the new tax is now showing on the report. I re-entered the purchase invoices but they are still not showing on the Tax report - any idea why not please?

    Hi, @Pawsome_Pets1.

    Can you show us what you're seeing on your tax report? It's hard to tell exactly what's happening without seeing it.
