Bulk edits have stopped working

Used to work just fine but over the last two couple days I have not been able to get one bulk edit process to complete. I've tried lots of transactions or only 8 transactions (see screenshot). I've tried a simple edit (changing Category) or a more involved edit, different browsers, and even my wife's account in case mine had an issue -- nothing has fixed the problem.

Wave has become so sluggish and the UI has taken a measurable 'form over function' approach (you guys love lots of whitespace & mouse clicks) that it might be faster to use pen & paper at this point.
