My Bank starting enforcing 2FA and now connection keeps breaking

My bank has enforced two form authentication and since then my approved connection with them keeps breaking. I am not sure how long the connection stays active, but it does disconnect after a while.
Is this something that can be fixed? Is there a way for either Wave or them to connect differently? Are there any know workarounds?
