What's your very favourite thing about your job?

We live a pretty weird life, us freelancers and entrepreneurs!

I'm curious to hear what's your favourite thing about your job. That moment that makes you feel like this whole crazy adventure was the right decision. What keeps you coming back for more?

Mine's gonna sound a little silly, but it means the world to me. I'm a writer, I mostly do technical writing. So research is, as you can imagine, an important part of my routine. I mostly work from home, and I spend my mornings reading up on my next project, doing terminology research and what have you.

I have a little solarium, on the east side of my apartment. Every morning, I get to read my textbooks and do my research in the sun, sipping a cup of home-made coffee (the first of way too many that day. We all have our vices!). I still can't believe reading in the sun is a part of my job. I couldn't be happier with the path I chose!
