Integration with external receipt tracking tool (one-way synchronization?)

Has anyone seen/implemented synchronization with a receipt tracking tool?

Wave's removal of their app 2 years ago and the so-called "new" replacement method was (and still is) one of the biggest jokes out there. (They took away the very simple "snapshot and throw" process and replace their AI with a complex 13-step method that puts customers right back where they didn't want to go in managing receipts. )

Since they didn't even bother to connect customers with 3rd party services that could fill the gap, we're looking for a new way of possibly integrating Wave into a 3rd party. Has anyone done this?
