Custom fields

Hello!

I just have a few specific requirements for my invoices. It's mainly for vehicle sales that I need the invoices for and it needs certain extra fields but not as line items.

I must be able to add certain fields on the invoice and want to find out whether it would be possible to do so? The fields are as follows:

Vehicle Details
Make
Model
Year
VIN #
Engine #
Reg #
Colour
KM

Trade in Detail
Make
Model
Vin
Reg #
Engine #
Year
KM
Colour
Price

Would it be possible to create your own customised fields?

    Hi @Jenix.

    It isn't possible to create new fields, but you can add this information in the Invoice's memo or footer sections. You can set up a default memo or footer from the Invoice Customization page, in the settings. You could set up all of these fields as lines in as a default memo and fill them in at invoice creation.

    Really? This is still where Wave is three years [2021] after this post? If each customer has a unique number that is required to be on the invoice, then this "workaround" is just extra work. Extremely silly.
