How to convert Receipt to Asset Account - Purchase inventory instead of purchase resale item

    Not sure why you can't, but you can't, @HolyKrishna.

    I think Wave wants you to use Bills instead. You can just record your receipt to whatever expense account, and then just change the category to the right asset on the matching transaction on your transactions page.

    Actually while purchasing we use app on android to take photo of the Bill which gets recorded in reciept

    That makes sense, @HolyKrishna. So then you'll have to change it manually on the Transactions page from an actual computer later on. It's annoying but it works.
