Anyone else ever accidentally create a business?

Late last year, I decided to get into making beef jerky. I love the stuff, didn't really know what I was doing but figured it'd be a good idea for a Christmas gift, so I bought an upsetting amount of beef and got to testing. The jerky was a hit, I continued playing around with the recipe and started selling at a local farmer's market a couple of weeks ago.

I wasn't really planning on going anywhere with the beef jerky idea, but I really couldn't resist turning a new hobby into a bit of profit.

Anyone else ever end up running a side-business by accident? Or even get snuck up on by your hobby becoming a career?
