That's a frustrating thing to have happened. It'll delay the payment for a few days at most. Here's how it'll go:
Two to four days after the payout is attempted, the money will bounce back to Wave and be kept on hold. You'll be sent a notification asking you to change your banking information. Immediately after you do, the payout will get rescheduled.
It usually takes another 2 business days after that for the payment to make it to your account. You'll be able to see the scheduled payout date on the Payouts page, under Banking.
