Duplicate entries when adding receipts

Hello,
I have uploaded credit card transactions into my credit card accounts and I am now uploading the corresponding receipts.
Somehow when I categorize the receipts, instead of matching up to the transaction, it creates a new entry.
What am I doing incorrectly?

Hi @LisaS! You can merge the receipt with the credit card transaction by selecting both of them and clicking merge at the top of the transaction page
