You should be! We have a great tool in Wave and Wave offers quick and easy figures for comparative financial analysis. Some things you should be thinking about:
1) How can I expand my business in 2019? --- efficiently
2) What new opportunities are out there?
3) What are the potential risks for my business?
There is enough meat in the three points to keep you going. If you need any help in organizing your business plan - get in touch.
I perform a plan every year. Not a brand new plan but it contains the following points:
a) a synopsis of 2018 -- what initiatives worked and what didn't?
b) how did my financials (to plan) work out? About right?, below?
c) has my market changed?
d) new initiatives/markets for 2019
e) a P&L forecast that I review and perform variance analysis on for benchmark purposes.
