How to merge a bill to a different dollar amount transaction withdrawal?
Hey guys, hope this makes sense. But I paid a subcontractor $250 and I normally create bills due to the subcontractors and pay out of my business checking account when selecting paid bill. Anyways I withdrew $270 from my business checking used $20 for me and $250 to pay the subcontractor. Now in my Transactions it shows Withdrawal of $270 then Bill of $250. How does one merge these 2 but leave the $20 I spent for myself? I split the transaction to $250 and $20, but it still shows in transactions as $270 so I cannot merge the bill with the withdrawal. Am I missing something? Should I put the $270 as Owners Investment Drawings and Pay out the Bill from Owners Investment Drawings? Just trying to make sure my transactions are correct. Would appreciate the help, thanks!
