Filing Catagories

I want to file my receipts and inventory but there are only certain categories on the list to choose from. I have a construction business so I need a category that says Equipment. Can I creste a catagory?

    Yes, you can.
    You'll need to go into your Chart of Account and create a new Account in the Property, Plant, Equipment catagory. You can name it and number it as you wish. If you plan on depreciating this asset then you'll need to set up an additional Depreciation and Amortization account as well.
