Recording Credit Card Processing / Transaction Fees in BULK

The way to record credit card transaction fees is a bit cumbersome, given that you must first (for every CC transaction) split the deposit, enter in the total value of the deposit before the fee, then add a new category for transaction/fees and then type in the transaction fee. Is there a more streamlined way to do this? It would save some time if you could even do a bulk edit feature and have a selection to "Add a new category" and "Discounts & Fees" pull down selection, and then your created "CC transaction Fees" menu option. We would still have to enter in the fee amount...any other ideas to make this faster?
