Employee Flat Rate or Daily Fee

I run a small design studio and pay our artists on a flat rate, a daily rate, or a weekly rate. As far as I can tell this still jives with NY State law regarding work hour exceptions for specialized fields - but there isn't a way to set up this payment in Wave yet. It would be great! Especially since keeping track of a multiple short term employees who come in for a few weeks or a month is a lot of extra work.
