Brand New User: Confused on Setup

My husband and I own our house and rent it out in the summer to afford the mortgage. But I am now drowning in spreadsheets. I am doing well at tracking the income, but when it comes to expenses, it's one big mess. I got us a joint credit card and put everything possible on autopay. But now our renovations are on the same card asthe new sheets and towels we have to buy, and if we go out to dinner that's on there too. My solution before I found Wave was going to be opening 7 bank accounts to put all the money where it belongs. But maybe there's a better way - using accounts in this app. I don't want to do it wrong from the get go. Help!
