Squareup users and Wave integration

Hi community,

I'm trying to get as much information as possible about wave users who accept payments through Squareup. Bit of a novice where payment gateways are concerned and struggling to find the information I'm after having looked through the community threads.

How are Squareup users accepting payments and recording those payments in Wave without double work? Is it possible to do it directly through Wave using API options? For example: when sending an invoice through Wave, is there a way to integrate a "pay invoice" button that links to squareup?

I've seen an integration option through Zapier, exactly what is that and how does it work?
