Sales Tax - Journal Entry Enhancements

JustinAJustinA Member Posts: 37 admin

Previously, journal entry line items associated with sales tax accounts were assumed to be payments to the government. We've listened to your feedback that you need the ability to add journal entries to increase your sales tax collected to increase your liability, as well as the ability to increase your sales tax paid on on purchases.

We're pleased to announced that this functionality has now rolled out on journal entries for all users.

What do you think of this feature? Has it been useful? Anything you think we can improve? Let us know below!

    Hey @profileweaver

We appreciate you reaching out about this and it has been brought to our attention in the past. Since we are a North American company and service users on a global level, often times our application is required to be as universal as possible. Although we do have an understanding around the newly developing invoice regulations in certain regions, our team is trying to figure out a way to accommodate to the ever-changing rules around new invoicing laws. Thanks again for reaching out about it!

Hi. Can you also, please add a new feature that allows us to work with multiple currencies? We should be able to change the currency exchange rate at the time of doing the journal entry.
