Does it need to be an invoice

Many of my sales are conducted in cash, and rendered at the time the service is complete. I have no need to invoice customers. How can I record a sale, without having to make an invoice? Is there a receipt option instead?

    PYP,
    Don't know whether you are located in the US but, I would just import or connect your business banking to Wave. When the deposits are imported you can code the cash received in the bank account as sales. You will need to match invoice payments with deposits if you are using invoicing.

    @PYP If you need to send a receipt than the invoice is only way to record the sale and generate the receipt to send to the customer.

    If you just want to record the sale, you can simply go to the transactions page and add income and associate it with the customer. You can also use the option suggested above if you have your bank accounts connected to Wave.
