Bank Connections - How To Force Data Downloads of More Than 90 Days Ago? Thanks!

wsvwsv Member Posts: 2

Good day, all!

If we added a bank account recently that has more than 90 days of history, and we most recently added this account, is there a way to force the update to go more than 90 days? For example, based on this point in 2019, is there a way to force the download of transactions at least back to January 1, 2019?

Thanks, all!

Hey @wsv . There's no way to force the bank connections to pull more than 90 days as this is a regulation enforced by the banks themselves. To get information into Wave from more than 90 days ago, feel free to use our Google Sheets integration called Wave Connect which should make this process easier for you.

If we upload with a .csv file, would it upload all transactions from the document, unlike the bank connection which is limited to 90 days? Because mine gets stuck with "Transactions are importing..." for days now. Please help.

Hey @mauwiks when you upload a .csv file into Wave, the file cannot exceed 100 lines in order for the statement uploader to manage the action. Provided that you divide your statement into documents that have no more than 100 lines, you should be fine.

I'd also recommend taking a look at this article, if you haven't already! It will walk you through the most common errors so that you can format your .csv file correctly.
