How to show budgeting for a future expense?

Hello! New to accounting. I'm trying to figure out how to 'set money aside' for a big bill at the end of the year. Licensing fees, for example, I have to pay every year and I'd like to make sure I have the funds available. Or lets say I want to put money aside every week to cover new furniture. How would I do that?

Hi @hopeplacetx . Wave doesn't support forecasting and planning in the platform. Typically, planning isn't a part of regular accounting systems so I'd highly advise that you seek an application that is dedicated to this outside of Wave. This should allow you to accurately plan while tracking your accounting within Wave.
