Credit Card Fees for Taxes

We use Eventbrite registration services. Eventbrite has a per-registrant fee in addition to standard credit card processing fees. Should the two types of fees have their own line item on the P&L for tax purposes? Or, can we lump them into a single line item?

    Hi @KC_ . Wish I could advise you on this but because I'm not an accounting advisor I'd afraid I won't be able to tell you the proper way to deal with this. If someone else with tax expertise in the Community would like to help, please jump in, otherwise I'd suggest you reach out to an accountant or tax specialist.

    @KC_,
    You can classify them together either as bank charges or Merchant account fees.

    Thank you! I have limited use for a CPA, but I wouldn't mind having a CPA review things from time to time, so I will definitely reach out if the need arises!
