Profit and Loss vs. Cash Flow?

Hi, it seems like the numbers listed for specific expenses in both of these sections are different and I don’t understand why. For example, for my personal accounting I have “groceries” as one of my expense categories. But when I look at the reports for grocery expense by clicking on “cash flow” and “profit and loss”, the numbers over a the same one-year period are extremely different - like, about $10,000 vs $15,000, which seems like a huge discrepancy. I don’t get a lot of grocery refunds or anything, so income of any kind shouldn’t be effecting this category much. Can someone explain what the difference is and especially how to get an accurate sense of how much I actually spent on each category last year? Thanks!

Hey @lauragyre! Thanks for reaching out. I'm thinking that our best bet for understanding the difference between these two reports might be to check in on this Help Center article here, where it'll explain the difference in those reports.
