Statement overpayments

I have been using Wave for about 6 weeks and love the simple ways of invoicing both from the app and desktop.
The introduction of customer statements has helped enormously however a suggestion I would like to be integrated would be.
My customers pay multiple invoices once a month which means going to each separate invoice to mark it as paid which could be 10 or 15 invoices, very time consuming. Could the system not allow for an over payment of an invoice to reflect the next invoice and subsequent as also paid.
With odd amounts on the invoices and single payments, not necessarily the amount on the statement sent, I need to get a calculator out to deduct sums before marking payment of old invoices.
Hoping this makes sense.

Or, if one wants to be precise, reflect a payment that needs to be split into allocations for invoice, on one screeen. Like Pastel does.
