When reconciling now, starting balance of month converts to a negative number

Hello, I've reconciled August, for example, showing a match between Wave and the bank statement for end of month. But the beginning of September starts with the final August balance now a negative. Help?

Hey @jowal! That definitely sounds like an odd one, can you post a screenshot here of what that looks like in your account? Would love to take a look into this with you!
I can't do screenshot as I fixed the problem by deleting the month and manually entering all data. When I simply resynced it just made everything negative again.
