Need help retro-actively applying categories

Hello! I need help changing categories for items in old invoices. Right when we started using wave I didn't understand categories and now I have a bunch of items/services just listed as "sales" and I need to categorize them and have it apply to old invoices. How do I do this?

    Hey @KatieNewcomb!

    Unfortunately, this is not going to be something that will apply to old invoices. You can change the categories for those items/services now, and it will affect invoices that are created from now moving forwards, but it is not possible to retroactively edit those categories on those products. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
