Set a default tax for sales and expense accounts

Is there a way to choose a sales tax set up in Settings to be the default tax account for expense and income accounts?
If not, is it possible for the chosen tax to auto calculate when chosen in receipts?

    Hey @GrahamYSA! Thanks for reaching out here. Unfortunately, at present, that is not possible, but that tax should automatically calculate on the transaction when chosen in receipts! Can you show me where it may not be? Would love to see what you're seeing so I can help as best as possible.
