Add sales tax when reviewing invoice transactions?

Example invoice: $105 ($100 sale + $5 GST).

Do I have to apply the tax (GST) to the $105 entry under Transactions if I mark it as an invoice payment or does Wave do that automatically? I am used to doing this for my expense transactions but am not sure if I also need to do it for transactions linked to invoice payments.
