Description on Transaction

Hi, I am hoping there is some helping hand here! Thanks Wave for developing this free accounting system! I am a new user and would like to find out more about the system.

I record payment after the invoice is created. However, when I go to accounting transaction look for the payment, the description appears as invoice payment only. There is no further details on it. This is frustrating when I export data as there is no further details on invoice number, unless I change the description manually. My question is can i create a payment in the Transaction and link it to my invoice number?

    Hey @twinklm! Thanks for reaching out here. Can you let me know what these descriptions currently look like? A screenshot of what you're seeing would be fantastic. Creating a transaction would definitely be able to be linked to any open invoice, by categorizing it as a 'Payment Received for an Invoice in Wave'.
