How do I categorize a new branch in a different country?

Hi there,
My company has funded opening of a new branch with start-up capital. It needed to be set up as separate company with my company being the 100% shareholder. As what is the start-up capital categorized?

    Hey @jakeConsulting , thanks for reaching out! In this case, I'd suggest reaching out to an accountant to be sure, as we're here to help with 'how to do' rather than 'what to do'. As I understand it, this would be categorized to a Shareholder's Loan equity account - but again it would be best to speak with an accountant to be certain!
