I think it would be helpful to allow a payment schedule attached to each invoice; one that can be completely customizable. For example, we can choose that the total balance of an invoice would be broken down into 4 payments (with the option of choosing each amount or making it equal amounts) due on specific dates (with the option to have the payments a certain amount of days/weeks/etc apart so that it's automatically calculated or just manually inputted). With this you could also have the option to choose whether the first payment is a retainer and/or liability/sale/etc.

    Yes, this would be awesome to have. I thought you could do this with a recurring invoice and now realizing that you can't.
