Wave not recognizing category when uploading statements

Hello. I have already categorized all of my expenses and deposits on my online banking. I have exported them in excel and also all of the other formats that wave allows and uploaded them but it only can read 2 of the options and on those statements only the date, amount and description show up and no category.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? I'd really like to avoid re-categorizing thousands of transactions.

    Hey there @Logan

    While Wave does not have a way to upload these chart of accounts in your CSV, you do have the ability bulk categorize your transactions using the default accounts that come in Wave's Chart of accounts.

    I understand that this is not ideal for the amount of transactions you might be uploading however we don't have a way to upload chart of account types yet in Wave.
