Customizing Payment Methods

Hello. In my business, most of my clients pay with a check. I enjoy how easy Wave is to use, but while recording a payment as a check, it takes me about 6 clicks! (I know, first world problems!) I was wondering if there was a way to customize my payment method? Meaning it automatically assumes I am recording a payment as a check.
