Cash accounting and double entry accounting?

Help me understand.

Im an S-Corp. I know the fundamentals: cash accounting is recongized when cash changes hands, and accrual when the service is conducted.

Can or does cash accounting still use double-entry accounting? How much different is this? Can you give an example scenario of using cash accouting with double entry accounting?

    @dontworryaboutit,
    Accounting is double entry no matter whether it is cash or accrual. FYI Cash basis is an accounting method that recognizes income and expenses when constructively received or paid. The IRS quickly caught onto businesses not depositing checks or actually sending out expense checks.
