Shareholder Loan

Hi everybody,

I have incorporated a company in July 2020 and I was advised that I could claim back the VAT from pre-incorporation expenditure going back 48 months.

To that end, are the items considered a shareholder loan or are they categorised another way?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

When it comes to claiming VAT applied to previous expenditures, I suggest reaching out to a CPA to ensure this is accounted for correctly and you receive the appropriate advice.
