Payroll for contractors only

Hello all,
I am looking to setup payroll but only have contractors. It keeps telling me that I have to complete my payroll by adding an employee. What do I do?

    Hey there @rittenpsych

    I can see that one of our support specialists was able to guide you to the business details page where you may have added that you've paid your employees in the past:

    If you select yes here, it will ask you to add your employees as well as any previous payroll history.

    Hopefully this worked out for you!

    How do I add an international contractor? It won't allow me to change the country. And also, is there a form that I can have my contractors fill out and from there I'll transfer the information to wave.

    Hey there @Lancy

    At this point, Wave only allows you to add an employee or contractor in the same location as your payroll business in Wave. I do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause! Reach out if you have any other questions.

    @Barsin
    Will Wave Payroll allow me to pay independent contactors who are in the U.S but in different states?

    Hey @VonRey !

    Yup! Wave Payroll supports out-of-state contractor payments. To learn more on how to pay contractors, feel free to check out this Help Center article. When you add a new vendor/contractor in Wave, you will be prompted to enter their information, including their state.
