Disappointed....Missing the wonderful Wave pre-H&R Block takeover

I agree that the problems with Wave bank feeds stems from the purchase of Wave to H&R Block and also the change of bank feed providers and lack of availability to customer service support, Wave has never been the same, I am so disappointed! In these times of Covid-19 and the need for Federal or Provincial Funding programs it is never more important or critical, for the accurate reporting and updated transactions to apply for funding. Having to manually import transactions defeats the purpose of having the feature of bank connections to feed your transactions.

Hey there @BHedley_accounting4u and @jakorsme ! To clarify, the status of a Plaid bank connection depends on a series of factors. For more context, typically what happens is that a bank may make some major updates to their website or their back end API. When this happens our third party banking aggregator, Plaid, loses the connection and may need to establish a new one. You can imagine with thousands of banks making these updates our third party aggregator has a bit of a difficult time keeping up. If bank connections ever go down, Wave offers our manual options; CSV uploader and Wave Connect as a back up solution so you can continue importing your transactions without a bank connection. If you ever have issues with a bank connection, please feel free to send us an e-mail at anytime so one of our agents can investigate further.

Another story of a big corporate by out of a great business model, smashing the credibility into the ground.
