Inventory Accounts

I've created Inventory accounts that I don't want to use. How do I get rid of them?

    Go to Accounting/Chart of Accounts. Find your account and click archive.

    I have two that have transactions (from a couple of years ago). so when archived, they are not hidden. but i don't know how to find the transactions to get rid of them so i can hide the account. when i use the Transactions function, the invoice accounts don't show

    Never mind, I found it when I filtered using the date of the last transaction.
