Why would a negative balance be showing in my payments by wave account?

    Hey @volunteertreasurer !

    If you have a negative balance in your Payments by Wave account, you may have some incorrectly categorized invoice payment transactions. For every invoice paid online through Wave, make sure you have the following 3 transactions for each:

    1. Initial Payments by Wave transaction (money in transit)
    2. Bank deposit transaction (funds landing)
    3. Transfer transaction (to record the movement of funds between accounts)
