Wave’s integration with ADP is being discontinued
For several years, Wave has partnered with ADP to provide accounting software to ADP users by importing payroll transaction information directly into Wave. After careful consideration, we have chosen to discontinue the ADP integration for all existing connections on April 30, 2021. We appreciate this update may come as a disappointment to some of you, but want to outline steps you can take in the coming weeks to continue accessing your Wave account.
To continue accessing your Wave account you will need to set a unique password. This will let you sign into Wave directly going forward. Your ADP integration will continue automatically importing data to Wave until it is retired on April 30, 2021.
Why are we making this change?
Successful connections could not always be guaranteed and were difficult to maintain. With a very small number of Wave business owners still using this connection, and difficulty maintaining the standard we hold ourselves to with any partner integration, we felt it was best to retire the ADP integration.
What happens to previously imported data from ADP?
Transactions and other data already imported will not be affected once the integration ends. You can continue to view and edit these transactions in your Wave account.
Can I still use Wave?
Yes. While the connection to ADP is going away, your Wave account will remain available for you to continue using. In the coming weeks, you will be prompted at login to set a password for your Wave account.
Once the ADP connection is discontinued, you can record payroll manually in Wave based on what you have processed through ADP.
