Can't change email address for payroll employee

I've entered 2 employees but unfortunately I used the same email address for both. When I edit the employee, it says "Email is not editable because has accepted Wave access" for both employees.

I tried contacting support but I got no response.

Please help.

    Since my employees didn't have any hours registered, I was able to DELETE their account (not offboarding) in the Payroll > Employees > Edit employee > Employment Status > Delete (red button).

    After that I re-created their account with the correct email addresses.

    I had to change the payday date too.

    But this is a hack not a real solution. But what if my employee had hours logged and they no longer had access to their email account, then what? There has to be a way to change an employee's email address from my end.

    That seems to do the trick nicely though.

    Hey @eproulx , I see that you received a response from our Support team on this. The Support team tends to handle these back end changes if you need them, but I'm glad that you were able to figure it out on your own.
