Computer Extended Warranty - how to account for this

I'm under the belief that a computer extended warranty is part of the hardware expense, but I want to make sure before I file it. IT was on the same receipt as the hardware purchase.

    For advice on how best to record the purchase of different types of assets, I recommend reaching out to a registered CPA. Our Customer Support team can assist you with how to record things in Wave, but as we aren't trained accountants, we can't advise on the best way to do so. I wouldn't want you to follow incorrect advice!
