Currently the only place that you can add an image onto an invoice is where the Company logo is located. If you wish to use this for your QR code, feel free to place it there!
Alternatively, you could add a hyperlink onto your invoices in the footer or notes/terms section. You can add this to specific invoices when editing them individually, or to all as a default, by heading to Settings > Invoice Customisation.
