Help!? Transactions not showing in reconciliation

Im trying to reconcile Aug & Sep 2021, and there are zero transaction visible after 25 AUG on the reconciliation page, for any month.
They show in the "transactions" page, but not in reconciliation.
I noticed the connection with the account was "off" (despite being able to see the transactions in the "transactions" page!! also, I have never turned it off), however when I try to turn it back on, it tells me the bank username is incorrect. Its NOT incorrect, I logged into my Mercury account multiple times directly while doing this.
I tried adding the account again as a "new" account (same username btw), and doing this turns the connection "on", however it only imports to Personal Accounts USD, and this makes no difference to the reconciliation - transactions still not showing.
Any Advice on how to turn the connection back on, AND how to get the transactions to repopulate in the reconciliation much appreciated!
