actual transaction date does not match Date in Wave

I noticed a problem. Lets say one does a transaction on a debit card that is connected through the bank account to Wave.
One does the transaction Friday, November 12. The transaction obviously takes about one or two business days to show up in Wave so November 16.
But the problem is that the "date" in Wave is also November 16. That is wrong, as the transaction in the online banking and the card swipe took place November 12. SO I manually have to adjust the dates inside Wave. What is the solution? Can Wave have the correct date in automatically even though the transaction shows up later in the system?
